How to crop Snapdeal shipping labels in 4 steps
- 1. Download your labels. Get the combined shipping label PDF from your Snapdeal seller panel.
- 2. Upload it above. Drag and drop the PDF — cropping happens locally in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
- 3. Pick your options. Trim the white space, add order numbers, optionally stamp the print date & time, choose 1 or 4 labels per page, and sort or include a summary.
- 4. Print. Download and print on A4 paper or 4×6 thermal labels at Actual size.
Why sellers use LabelCrop for Snapdeal labels
Snapdeal manifests put every label on a page padded with white space — the same space that eats thermal rolls, skews A4 alignment and forces hand-trimming during dispatch. Cropping to the label itself removes all three problems at the source.
Snapdeal is one of only two marketplaces we crop entirely in your browser. No file is ever uploaded: the pages are read, trimmed, rebuilt and downloaded all inside the tab, so seller addresses and phone numbers stay on your machine by architecture.
The options around it are free and complete — order numbers, date & time stamping, SKU sorting and the summary page. No sign-up, no watermark, no surprise subscription.
Who is this tool for?
Built for Snapdeal sellers, unbranded-goods wholesalers and packing stations that print daily label batches and want fully local, private processing.
What a Snapdeal label manifest looks like
A combined Snapdeal label download stacks the day's orders into one PDF, usually one label per page with the consignee block, the AWB and the barcode, ringed by a large empty margin. On a 4×6 thermal roll or an A4 label sheet that margin is pure waste — and a common source of misalignment.
The Snapdeal crop reads every page, isolates the label, trims the margin, and when you include invoices it keeps each order's page group intact through sorting.
Whether to print on A4 or thermal
Most Snapdeal sellers batch-print on A4 at high volume. Use Labels/Page = 4 to place four cropped labels per sheet with clean cutting gutters — you roughly quarter the paper bill versus the raw download. If your operation runs 4×6 direct-thermal rolls, keep Labels/Page = 1; the cropped page matches the roll size and prints at actual size without template fiddling.
Always print at Actual size / 100%. "Fit to page" shrinks the barcode below scanner tolerance — the most common cause of scan failures at hub check-in.
Keeping buyer data local matters
Each shipping label embeds a customer's full name, address, pincode and phone number. With client-side processing that data is never sent anywhere — it exists in your browser for the seconds it takes to build the output, then disappears.
That is a meaningful difference from server-side tools: no upload queue, no processing logs, no retention policy to trust. The bytes move from disk, to the tab, to the download.
Common problems and quick fixes
Barcode does not scan: reprint at Actual size. If it still fails, clean the printer head or raise print quality — faded bars read as badly as shrunken ones.
Labels print off-centre: the driver forced Letter paper or fit-to-page. Set A4 and Actual size, then reprint.
Invoices mixed with labels when you wanted none: re-run with Include Invoice flipped the other way.
Numbering restarted mid-run: order numbers are continuous across files uploaded in the same session — load the day's files together.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Snapdeal label crop tool free?
Yes. Crop unlimited Snapdeal shipping label PDFs for free — no sign-up, no watermark and no paid tier of any kind.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Snapdeal labels are cropped entirely on the client side in your browser — the pages never leave your device. No upload, no transmission, no third-party server ever sees buyer data.
Why should I crop Snapdeal labels?
Snapdeal's PDFs surround each label with a large white margin. Removing it saves paper, keeps barcodes exactly where the printer expects them, and makes thermal rolls last far longer.
Can I print on a thermal printer?
Yes. Cropped single-label pages feed 4×6 thermal printers directly — set Labels/Page to 1. For A4 sheets, use Labels/Page = 4 for four labels per page with cutting gutters.
What is the Print Date & Time option?
Snapdeal is one of the few tools where the date/time stamp is genuinely supported (alongside Amazon and Delhivery). Tick it and each cropped label gets its print date and time, handy for proving when a batch was readied.
Do I need to install any software?
No installation needed. The tool works directly in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile.
How many labels can I process at once?
Upload the full combined manifest PDF and every page is detected and cropped automatically in one pass. Numbering stays continuous across all files uploaded in the same session.
Can I keep invoices with their labels?
Yes. With Include Invoice on, each order's invoice is grouped with its label so the two stay together through sorting. Leave it off for labels only.
