The print setting that makes or breaks scannability
Almost every "barcode won't scan" complaint at a courier hub traces back to printer scaling, not the label. When you open the cropped PDF and hit print, check three settings: scaling must be Actual size / 100% (Fit to page silently shrinks the bars below scanner tolerance); paper must be A4, not Letter, or the four-per-sheet grid drifts off-centre; and headers, footers and border options should be off.
On a thermal printer the same rule holds — set the driver's paper size to 4×6 and print at actual size. Because the cropped pages contain only the label, most thermal drivers accept them without template setup.

Common problems and quick fixes
Barcode does not scan: reprint at Actual size. If it still fails, clean the printer head or raise print quality — faded bars are as bad as shrunk ones.
Invoices mixed in with labels: you had Include Invoice on but wanted labels only (or the reverse). Re-run with the toggle flipped — no need to re-download your source.
Labels misaligned on the sheet: the printer forced Letter paper or applied fit-to-page. Fix both settings and reprint.
Order numbers restarted mid-batch: numbering is continuous only across files uploaded in the same session. Upload the whole day's files together.

Where does my file go while it is processed?
Your PDF is uploaded to our crop server only for the seconds it takes to generate the output, then permanently deleted. Nothing is stored, logged or shared, and there is no account to attach it to.
Can I remove the invoices and print labels only?
Yes. Leave Include Invoice off and the downloaded PDF contains just the cropped labels — ideal when you attach invoices separately inside the parcel. Tick it back on and each invoice rides with its own label again.
Will the barcode still scan after cropping?
Yes. Cropping only removes blank margins around the label — the barcode is not resampled or resized. Print at Actual size / 100% (never Fit to page) and it scans exactly like the original.
